On Saturday, December 21st at 11:30AM, Extinction Rebellion Western Massachusetts will honor the winter solstice with a procession in celebration of renewal and rebellion, with prayer and reverence for our mother as the earth turns from deepest darkness towards the light once again. Led by the Red Rebel Brigade, a procession of drums, puppets, and flags will move through downtown Northampton with messages recognizing the importance of farming and food cultivated in healthy relationship to our planet.

We hope for local XR members to join us wearing red, black, and white to carry signs and flags and distribute fliers.
